Dayquill

Blake Weise, aka, Dayquill, has been at this for a while. At the age of 15, Dayquill bought his first set of turn tables, and taught himself how to mix. He blessed the fine city of Silverthorne with mostly breaks for the first couple years. Then Dayquill moved to drum and bass in about 1999/2000. Not only did he change music styles, he changed his location too. Dayquill moved to Colorado Springs to attend the University of Colorado in 2002. Shortly there-after, he met a fellow DJ named Diverse, and soon joined Turbo Alliance. Dayquill began to play a radio show called Time Served in 2004, and then moved to Denver in 2005, continuing to work on Time Served. Since his move to Denver, Dayquill joined up with the Dank Dealz Radio show and Subdotmission, and has has had many residencies, including, Cervantes, Beta, The Church, Vinyl, and Sutra.
DubStep became a passion in 2007 and he has been it playing ever since. Dayquill's style is fast paced and exciting to witness. He prides himself in his flawless mixing and high energy sets. Influenced mostly be old school hiphop / gangster rap, and breaks and DnB, Dayquill always brings the heat while keeping the dance floor moving.

Dodger

Growing within Colorado's constantly developing EDM scene, Dodger created a name for himself by spinning Drum & Bass at parties all around the state and later becoming one of the first to push the emerging sound of Dubstep in 2006, here in Denver. Since 2009, Sub.Mission Dubstep has been proud to call Dodger a resident and family member of the international Dubstep crew. Although he has been a Dubstep DJ since 2006, Dodger notes that his inspiration stems from both the aggressive sounds of metal, along with the groove of hip-hop. Dodger has not only found his distinct sound, and mastered the art of DJing, but he has also created a massive fan-base that crave the deep, heavy bass and intricate rhythm he has been known to bring to the party. Alongside acts such as Caspa, Datsik, Flux Pavillion, Skism, Headhunter, Doctor P, Koan Sound and many more, Dodger has been a complement to any event with his defined style of melodic, heavy hitting bass. Dodger's international recognition has been in constant growth since the start of his career with the help of his DJ residencies at Sub.Mission Dubstep, and America's #1 nightclub-Beta in Denver, Colorado. Be on the lookout for this constantly rising name out of Colorado and look towards record labels such as Hench, Dub Police, and Argon records to get a better feel of his sound and influences.

Fury

Drum & Bass is a culture with one eye fixated on the future. To achieve longevity within the scene a DJ must stay two steps ahead of the general public. The arsenal needed to achieve this task comes in the form of exclusive tunes and an acute ear for "the next sound". Since 1991 DJ Fury has not only met, but surpassed all these criteria.

Steve Blakley began the metamorphosis into his moniker of DJ Fury while snow boarding professionally in the early nineties. It was during this time that Blakley attended his first few raves and was introduced to DJ culture. Reluctant to assume the role of spectator Blakley soon purchased turntables and unknowingly took the first step of his new career. By 1992 Blakley had begun to play the sound of hardcore U.K. breakbeats at events around the Denver area under the guise of DJ Fury. By the next year this sound had began to transform into an early prototype of what would be known as Jungle. Fury shifted with the new sound seamlessly.

From this point forth the Denver Jungle scene snowballed along with Fury's DJ career. The year of 1995 saw the birth of the notorious Rewind series by Lowerworld which catered purely to up front Jungle. These events began to receive attention nationwide thus providing a huge stepping stone in Fury's career. Slowly but surely his reputation of providing the best tunes with flawless mixing began to spread from city to city. From there, Fury continued to expand his growing fan base by maintaining a rigorous DJ schedule rinsing out cities such as Los Angeles, Washington DC, Seattle, San Francisco, and many others. Despite this intense travel itinerary Fury still manages to hold it down in Denver by throwing Reload events and co-hosting Denver's premier bass driven night "Bassic Fridays" at Beta Nightclub.

Currently Fury designs for and runs the internationally acclaimed graphic design company, The Firm Graphics, in between his DJing and event promotions. He is a resident for Bassrush, Insomniac's bass division, and the Reload events are still running strong. You can catch Fury at many of the nation's largest festivals like Electric Daisy Carnival & USC Events in Seattle, as well as some of the top nightclubs. One thing is for sure - you can always count on some 180 BPM dance floor smashing drum and bass whenever he hits the stage.

Ishe

Denver is the fourth biggest market on Earth for dubstep, and Ishe is Denver's dubstep don. No other Mile High clubber slays for both Westword "Best Promoter" Sub.mission and "Best Monthly Party" Whomp Truck. No other Coloradan is as animated at the helm, either. Ishe, to the faces he's melted (after a Dr. Seuss character), boasts a decade and a half behind the decks, and his serious experience shows. Anyone involved with Colorado's EDM scene has witnessed his wicked mixing and track selection firsthand, as he's perpetually booked at both underground and massive events on a weekly basis. Beta, the number one club in North America, recently made him a Bassic Fridays resident. The biggest electronica festivals on the circuit, from Electric Daisy Carnival to Skylab, beat Beta to the punch in that department, though. Kansas City, Lincoln, Detroit, Las Vegas and Salt Lake are fans, thanks to a slew of out-of-state outings and a recent slot on the Global Dub Festival lineup alongside the likes of Freq Nasty, Mimosa, and Benga. Opening slots for N-Type, Hatcha, and Cotti have further showcased this veteran's flexibility and depth behind the decks. Releases on Velcro City Records, Snatchy Trax, and L.A.-based powerhouse Play Me Records regularly crack Beatport's dubstep charts, with the 2011 Dirt Monkey collab "Flaunt It" peaking at #15. With a full length-album with Dirt Monkey set for release in March 2012 for Play Me, and a bagful of originals and remixes set to drop over the coming year, Denver's dubstep don is certainly on a roll.

Subliminal

Andrew Carr a.k.a Subliminal was born and raised in the dirty south, Memphis, TN. After moving to Denver in 2007, Andrew hit the Internet to search out fellow dubsteppers and coincidentally became part of the early days of Sub.Mission. A true ambassador of proper mixing, Subliminal’s biggest DJ inspiration has always been Andy C, the godfather of drum and bass. Not satisfied with just playing records one after the other, Subliminal brings it with something new every set, always switching up the style while still maintaining his signature “dirty south dub” theme throughout. Look for big things, as he expands his production skills and continues to bring the heat in and around Denver.
