Overall, it was an excellent, enjoyable set. It was similar in feeling to the Fabric disc Iâ€™ve been digging, but definitely more streamlined and stripped down for the club.
Iâ€™ve always considered him to be a solid if largely unremarkable artist who occasionally manages to elevate his work to something special and distinctive.
It matters not whether the fashion shows are â€œIn Bloomâ€ or â€œOutta Bloom,â€ they are always a fond memory any way you slice it.
Technically the set was solid, even impressive. The mixing was impeccable, the use of effects was subtle and well-executed and there were no jarring transitions.
A sign, then, that people are up for it here in Denver and Beta is a top platform to deliver the goods.
