Ishe and Dirt Monkey will be demonstrating the processes they used to mix down their full-length album "Turn Up the Ride".
Expect discussion of the following topics: Track Organization, Gain Structure, Stereo Imaging, Subtractive vs. Additive Equalization, Explanation and use of Compression, Bussing Audio Tracks, Multiband Compression, and Sidechain compression.
All are invited, however this is an intermediate level clinic- a working knowledge of Digital Audio Workstations (We will be using Ableton 8) is necessary to get the most out of this course.
