12th Planet Residency
w/ Rumblejunkie & Dayquill
Like the mythological 12th Planet (popularized by controversial author Zecharia Sitchin), our 12th Planet flies perpendicular to the system. His beats are off axis and his subsonic frequencies send you into your own orbit. America's first king of dubstep is ready for impact at his all new 2012 Beta Nightclub residency.
Rumblejunkie aka Wesley Waldo, began making Dubstep around 2007. Soon after, joined his mates at Sub.Mission, an all Dubstep promotion company based in Denver. His style is edgy and darker, yet groovy with huge sub and grungy/grindy basslines with an occasional deeper track often sprinkled with pop culture samples and references.
Blake Weise, aka, Dayquill, has been at this for a while. At the age of 15, Dayquill bought his first set of turn tables, and taught himself how to mix. Dayquill’s style is fast paced and exciting to witness. He prides himself in his flawless mixing and high energy sets. Influenced mostly by old school hiphop / gangster rap, and breaks and DnB, Dayquill always brings the heat while keeping the dance floor moving.
